“A Song For Chloe”
I am sorry that we have not been better about posting! With Facebook, Twitter, Shay’s blog and Graham’s blog we can’t seem to keep it all updated! Life in Florida is good and we are enjoying our first warm winter with 75 being the average temp. We could get use to this!! The church is doing very well. We are starting our second semester on campus and recently had our largest group out so far with about 70 people there on Sunday! We still meet on the campus of USF on Sunday nights and have gotten to meet so many incredible people! Here is a recent picture!
So here are two new videos along with one of Choe’s 7 month pictures:) The first video is of her at roughly 6 months and the second is the most recent at rough 7 months. They are both a random assortment of footage…not all of it glamorous…but hopefully they will really give you a better picture of her cute little personality and all that she is learning! Time is flying by so fast! Enjoy!

Chloe’s 7 Month Video:
Just some random footage of Chloe talking up a storm over the last few weeks. Now that she can use her vocal chords, she’s unstoppable! Enjoy
She is a little small to go out just yet…but we could not resist dressing our little ladybug up (thanks Amy for the “costume”). Happy Halloween!!

Four years ago today I walked down the aisle with my best friend. We made promises with no way of knowing exactly what the future would hold…or what those promises would have to withstand. What I did know was that Graham was the most genuine, caring, respectful and selfless man that I had ever met and we knew that if we committed to doing marriage God’s way, and not our way or the world’s way, that by His grace it would grow and persevere through anything.
These past four years have been the most amazing and most challenging of my life. Our life is nothing short of a wild ride and there is no one in the entire world that I would rather have by my side then Graham – a man who is both a leader and a servant and who seeks like crazy to know what God wants for our little family.
Exactly, one year ago today we found out that we were pregnant. It was an absolutely amazing celebration of our anniversary and the new things to come. One year later we find ourselves in a new state, in a new home, in new jobs and roles and with a new baby….like I said our life is nothing short of a wild ride…
Thank you does not begin to say enough for all you are Graham and all that you do as a husband and as Chloe’s daddy. Thank you for your encouragement and your support in everything that I do. Thank you for your diligence in praying for me and for our future. Thank you for mid-night Slurpee runs and for still asking me to slow dance with you in the kitchen.
Thank you for the last 7 years of friendship, 4 years of marriage and for your commitment and companionship in the years and adventures to come. I love you.
Happy Anniversary my sweet.

Chloe is now 3 months old! Her newest tricks involve laughing (well, it sort of is a cross between a laugh and a grunt…we will try to get it on video soon) and she is also starting to figure out how to roll from her tummy to her back. I was able to catch it play-by-play on film yesterday:) P.S – are these the cutest shorts you have ever seen or what!? (Thanks Ann!!)
Chloe eyes the playing field and strategizes her next move…

Step one: tuck the right shoulder in while getting leverage with the left arm.

Step two: begin pumping the left leg for momentum.

Step three: Swing back the head and find a focus point on the ceiling….and take a breath…you are almost there…

Step four: synchronize the rotation of the shoulder and hips while still looking cute.

Mission accomplished! Now stay cool…look at mom like you don’t know what all the fuss is about.

Chloe: “Ok mom, I rolled over, will you put that camera down now?”

Up to this point, there was little proof that I am actually Chloe’s mom. haha. I tend to be the one behind the camera so I wanted to make sure that time didn’t pass too quickly before Chloe and I got a few minutes together in front of the camera. So, on Thursday morning we set up a little shoot in the guest bedroom. I got everything all set up with the camera and then handed it to Graham to snap a few pictures of his ladies:)

I cannot believe that Chloe is almost 11 weeks old. It seems funny to me to tell people that I have a 2 month old….where is the time going? I think about a hundred other parents have told me “don’t blink or you will miss it”…..I am trying not to blink but it’s proving to be to no avail. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks. Chloe is now 9.2lbs and 22 inches. We are loving the new sounds that she comes up with every day and her smile seems to bring the world to a halt. Every day I learn more about God’s love for me through this little girl. I have trouble getting through a round of “Jesus loves me” without tears in my eyes and a knot in my throat because it has become so real to me how helpless we are and how much God loves us despite and because of that helplessness.

The past few months have been filled with family and friends! Here are some highlights!

Visits from Nanni, Grandpa Bill and uncle Cody!

Four generations of ladies:) Look at those dimples!!

Uncle Cody loooves Chloe:)

Meeting Grandpa Mike for the first time!

Cuddling up for a little family movie night!

Little Clo-bug in her lady bug bathing suit thanks to Amy Killian!

“Just you wait ’till I’m older mom and dad…paybacks are coming!”

Beach day!

Chloe got to play with her Uncle Will and her second cousins Taylor and Thomas!

Sleeping Beauty…man is she cute or what?!

And finally, Chloe was getting some dark circles under her eyes so we gave her a day at the spa!! haha just kidding….but I could not resist!
Little Chloe turned 6 weeks old yesterday and it is amazing to see how alert she has gotten in the past week! She is spending more time awake and is starting to “coo” and smile. She is incredible and we eat up every moment of it!
